Issac and Elise Snap Shot

Who said "Beauty doesn't match Handsome?". Issac and Elise here to proof you wrong. The matching on their modeling is just perfect. Their eye contact is excellent. And they are very cheerful couple. Instead of cheering the model while shooting, but end up they cheer us up. Her signature smile capture everyone's attention and his basketball sports man figure capture every girl's attention. Never the less, they had capture our eyes too. Its quite eye painful for us to have long hours looking at this sweet couple, they are just too lovely, too handsome and too beautiful.

Afternoon shooting idea never comes to my mind until Elise suggest to me. Photography is an art, photographer paints with lights; it is not what types of art that we want to create, its about how we paint with the available lights and tools. It should not be any problem for a photographer to snap at anytime, anywhere. Butterworth old railway station is a place where photographers always go. The old building gives the feel to both models and photographers. The available sun light created the spot light environment. It is just perfect for the artistic shot. I am loving the natural light, it just appear foc. All things came in at the perfect timing, together we create miracle. Special thanks to Elise, Issac, Siewkay and my lovely wife.

Happy Mid Autumn Festival

Mid Autumn is also call Lantern or Mooncake festival. It falls on the 15th day of the month of 8 on Chinese calender every year. In the city life today, I can't see kids running around on the road any more. Flash back memory in those days, while my grandma is praying at night, (usually after we had had our dinner) me and my brother together with neighbour, we play lantern and some games outside our house. And that created our childhood memories.

As time goes, lesser and lesser people play lantern. Even some only play inside their own house compound. I can see most of the house door were shut, switch on the air-con and watching TV. Mostly lantern were play at a gathered place rather than holding the lantern walk around the village.

Those days, we have toy biscuit (ang kong kia piah) and moon cake. Kids love sweet things, thus moon cake is our choice. Present day, I prefer plain toy biscuit, not that sweet. When I was young, 1 moon cake only cost RM 3 to 4 (with double york); today all the fancy fancy moon cake had came across. Cheese, durian, red bean, etc etc etc...... now 1 piece of moon cake cost RM 12 to 20! As the price keep hiking up each year. And bakery keep complaining raw material price increase. I had stop buying moon cake since the price hit more than RM 10 per piece. They say that moon cake raw material price increase, but moon cake can be sold with 25 to 50% discount on the last day. And I able to buy a moon cake from night market at RM 4 per piece. I still do think night market's moon cake is my choice. I wonder how much is the raw material price for the night market moon cake seller.

To buy a moon cake at RM 20, I rather give my self a try on Haagen-Dazs moon cake. Its very expensive but worth for a try. It taste great. So this year we have the most expensive moon cake in our life. Here is something to share with you.

What else people do on Mid Autumn Festival? BBQ party! I had our BBQ party at home. Yeah enjoy, simple yet enjoy. I would also like to thank my in law family for making another family gathering bbq mid autumn party in Malacca. Was having a great time BBQing. Special thanks to my Aunty for inviting me to her house for another party. Thanks to Win Win.... for inviting me to her 3Q studio open house. My first time to your studio. Very artistic... you all really are artist. Simple, low cost equipment created a very artistic feel. Open my minds that, cheap doesn't mean not good, its just how you do it! Win win, you got it, just do it. All the best in your 3Q studio.

Happy birthday to those who are celebrating your birthday on this month. Happy birthday to Cindy, Ms Lee and sweet little girl. I love you.

Zen Zen...

There is a restaurant in Malaysia call Zen. But there is also a cute little one call Zen too. Zen.... my nephew... Zen... he is just so lovely and cute. He is active, very active. His speed and his energy really great. He crawls very fast. Sometimes very worry "he will go into my lens". He looks alike my brother's son Jovan that now growing in US. Sometimes I mix up with the photos. Both of them are really cute. We just love baby. We miss Zen so much, miss the way he eat, smile, laugh and his fast action.... Wet, you must teach him that I am his uncle, please let me carry him next time. Haha...

Thanks to the lovely couple for treating us in a Japanese Restaurant. I love Japanese food very much, especially salmon shashimi. Please forgive me, if my greedy behavior had scare you. Thanks for your hospitality, Lynn's CEO coffee and importantly, thanks for your effort, specially on leave and go all the way to buy my monitor for me. Now I am very comfortable while editing my photos. Fast with the big screen. Great!!!

Dexter Quah

We been to Kuala Lumpur on August, on Merdeka. Those days we will go to Bintang walk for count down... today we all are aging already. Count down no longer our activity on the festival eve, but count up is the activity that we usually do nowadays. Counting time's up for sleep. On our trip to KL, we were having gathering with our gang Ledang 4. And my heng dai's (brother's ) son, really make my day. Just can't help myself but keep playing with the 5 months old baby. Dexter always smile and laugh at us, he just cheer us up every minute every second. He looks exactly like his father when his father, Dhenson at his age. Now we believe miracle, we believe like father like son.

We would like to thanks Dhenson and family for the hospitality when we were in KL. And your baby, just make our day. We loves babies too. They are just so cute. He is the baby of the day.... Just can't wait to see him again on our next trip to KL... mostly will be on Dato Lee's MBA convocation. Congratulation to Dato Lee Ying Jui in advance.

Without getting the permission from his parents... I wanna take away this baby... Just love it!!

Issac and Elise Sneak Preview

This week been a busy week for me. Kept clicking shutter button and mouse button. Finally I am back to the same old place, which is the railway station to capture portrait photos of this couple. Both of them were great. Elise is a very famous model in Facebook, she is tall and awesome. While Issac is the lovely partner of Elise, together they created amazing photos.

The day is so hot and yet, we even snap more photos.... just can't help to tell myself stop clicking the shutter button. Really enjoy clicking the button..... but I forget, the more I click, the more photos for me to touch up. No choice, because they are such wonderful for me not to miss it. A very happy and cheerful couple. Nice meeting you all, together we make things miracle.
