I wish to shoot Pre-wedding or Couple shoot in this Romantic City of Regensburg

During the free time of mine in Regensburg, Germany, I took a walk to the heritage city of Regensburg with my beloved Canon 6D and Canon 24-105mm F4 lens. The scenery here is superb! Very beautiful. The Spring weather here is perfect for photoshooting. It is not hot even thought we were under the hot sun, it just warm. The flower blooming everywhere and you can kiss or hug anywhere you like. While I was taking my walk on the street, I can catch the photos with the love in the air. Here are some of my photos that I did on my street shoot over few weekends. A peaceful walk under the trees by the Donau river side. Sometimes live a simple life gives an enjoyable romance life. Simple evening walk like this can be romantic for a couple. I snapped their photo from behind. Its a street shoot, I can't request the couple to kiss :)

This is the heritage Donau Stone Bridge, too bad it was under construction on the left side. But again, I shot this photo from the back of this old couple and by converting the photo to black and white to give me more impact and simple to the photo; while color photo could cause distraction!

Couple walking by the river side. It was just coincidence that they were the only couple that walking by the river side and I was on the Stone Bridge. Captured it at the perfect timing.

Love bird :) These 2 birds were resting on the construction structure and were enjoying the beautiful view of the river. Managed to catch their dating photo. Hope I can tag them in facebook :)

These 2 photos (top and below) are the photos that I spent at least 45 minutes waiting at the top of the Stone Bridge to shoot. I have to wait until there is the only couple on the track to shoot. And I have to wait for the chance to see the couple holding their hands and walk at the right position from my photo composition. Since I was free, no harm to wait for the chance. Furthermore, I was enjoying the sun bath.

Kids are adorable. Took this picture from far and zoom to maximum. This is the side door of the giant structure of St Peter's Church in Regensburg. Love this picture so much. Make me miss my sons.

Under the hot sun, this couple was enjoying their ice-cream in front of the church main door. Took this opportunity to compose the photo since the ice-cream is the only colored object and the rest are monochrome to them.

Found another couple that standing by the riverside and looking at the Heritage city of Regensburg. Took my camera and have a quick snap.

This is the view of the Sorat Insel Hotel that located near to the Donau River. I can consider this as one of the best place for honeymoon. I just love couple shot. Even just the hotel and the scenery, I would prefer to add in a couple into the photo to create an impact of the photo.

Again, on the bridge, but a different view of it. This was a backpack couple from Korea. They were doing the selfie along the bridge and I took this opportunity to snap them from the back.

This was the life of a dating German. During their free time in Saturday, they can spent the whole day laying down on the garden for sun bath. Looks like they were sleeping on their bed at home.

Just in time for another shoot before I left the bridge.

Sweet kiss on the street! I already noticed that this couple going to kiss. I was standing far away and gave a maximum zoom to aim on them and just waiting for the kissing moment. It was not easy to shoot this couple. Either there was someone walking past them nor miss the kissing moment. They kissed for few times but none I catch the sparkling moment, anyhow the electric shock moment before kiss is beautiful as well.

Standing at the opposite side of the river and observed the view, I found that this view looks nice to me. Added impact was the couple opposite the river and able to make this as a couple shot photo.

One more :) Just can't resist to take 1 more picture, the view is superb.

This is nice, took the picture from the back of this couple that having their picnic near the river. It was a nice view and nice position, just too bad the Stone Bridge was still under renovation. Else this should be one of the perfect pictures that I can have.

Last picture! This was taken under the Stone Bridge. Looks like a poster to me :) I wish I can be given a chance to shoot pre-wedding photography or couple photography in this City of Romance. 

Sense of Spring around my "Dxg House"!

Spring is coming

Spring is coming but the weather in Germany is really ups and downs. It was super cold in the morning like -4 to 3 degree C. But the atmosphere temperature change to 17 to 24 degree C in the afternoon. During my off day, I took a walk around my dog house with my camera. Really, my camera is my only companion when I am away from home.

This is an authentic house that near to my house in Germany. The house is mostly built by wood. I like the design of the house. They even utilize the rooftop.

This is the church that near to my house and everyday, every 30 minutes they will ring the bell, even midnight. So you do not need a clock :) This place looks very nice but I notice that mostly only family go to this church. Other than Sunday this street is a dead street.

Took this opportunity to shoot the street. Like this photo.

This structure looks interesting to me. Often I see the counter weight is mounted at the top of the cantilever, but this counter weight is on the ground. 

So happen to see this kindergarten around my house, was have a look surround the kindergarten. Found that the playground is quite similar with my children's school back in Malaysia. I would hope to go into the kindergarten for once. Hope there will be a day that I can go into the house for a visit to understand how they educate their children. I really love to learn how is their kindergarten lifestyle. From what I heard is they learn by playing.

Last, this is my "dxg house". The rooftop is a separate unit, where there are other members rent the rooftop. Inside.... "vegetable"!

Back to Nuremberg.

Hard to have a chance to go back to Germany for twice and I took the chance to go back to Nuremberg for a visit. Visited the tourism spot where I visited last year. Manage to take a few photos, among them are:

 
Took this photo from the opposite of the lake. Love this view so much. That was the Colosseum in Nuremberg that built by Adolf Hitler in 1937 and it was incomplete and left abandon until today.

This was the Christmas Market that I went last year but recently it was fill up with a market. This stall is selling all kinds of brooms. They were selling the broom that allows you to clean your 3 storey ceiling high house.

It was a candid shot where I saw this old man was taking the picture of the couple when they were kissing. I just bring out my camera and capture the moment. Hope you like it.

Walhalla Abandon Building

I was another boring afternoon, out of no where I suggest to bring my colleague for a walk in Regensburg. Walhalla Temple appear in my mind and I just set on Walhalla in my car GPS and it bring me to this Walhalla abandon building. This building looks like a crackdown castle and it only left a few walls. It was not a tourism destination but more like a park/garden where the local citizen will spend their evening walking around. Due to it is not a tourism destination, therefore there were not much people walking around. I can have a place to peace my mind, enjoy the scenery of Walhalla. The weather was great. It was around 10 degree C with a clear sky.

The view of the garden, I like this fallen tree. I think this place is one of the perfect place for pre-wedding or couple photoshooting. I will go there once more before I go back. Hope I can hook up photoshooting there. If the place is built with a public toilet, that will be perfect!

Captured this photo in candid. Both of them did not know that I was capturing them and I show it to them later. Met a new friend in Walhalla. This couple has been developing the same hobby for the past decades. They can speak very limited English, and yet we are still able to communicate since we have the similar interest. They have been shooting since the film era and they own 7 Canons SLR (film and digital). I wish I can shoot like they do. Pass time with the dog and camera at the old age.

This is the inspiring shot for me. Since I am so free and bore, why not shoot some couple photos during my free time in Germany. You can really have fun shooting couple in public. They do not care at all, they can have their private time anytime, anywhere. Kissing scene can be seen at all time. Just be alert with your camera and you will have the chance. A nice view there.

Back to Regensburg

Spring Environment in Regensburg. It is a very romantic town

This is the second time I am back to Regensburg. I was here during winter last year and I am back to Regensburg for Spring :). Everything change! When I was here, it was cool and no many people hang around on the street. But now, whenever the sun appear, you can see a lot of people spend their weekend laying under the sun, romance around and I can see a lot of love in the air. 4 seasons countries are nice as their activities all year round is different. They change their lifestyle every 3 months. They change their fashion every 3 months as well. You can imagine girls with 3 pairs of shoes for 1 season, they will have 12 pairs of shoes for a year. With this, they can maintain their fresh look to their love one every 3 months. I love spring more than winter. As we can see more people walking around on the street, instead of a dead city. The flowers blooming are awesome. I almost spend my weekend walking around in the old city and try to join the local German enjoy their life. The scenery view is superb but too bad, there are not much photographer by hobby around that shooting along. I just can't find a group to join in or communicate with the people here to engage for a photoshoot, it is not easy when we can't speak German. Anyhow, camera is not only for portrait, it can be anything. I would wish I can have 70-200mm lens to allow me to shoot more street shoot portrait in silent. Here is something to share from me.

I can see this everywhere in European countries and also in US. The baby is so adorable :) It will be a nice afternoon to spend your time here with a cup of coffee and enjoy the "Kuali music". Too bad, during spring the hot coffee get cools off very soon.

Another romantic scene that I witness in Regensburg. "White hair till the end of life!" I can see a lot of old couple walking together on the street and holding hands together. It is not easy to stay romantic together throughout their entire life. A lot of couples change after married, they change from romantic to responsibility. But I can see the love is in the air no matter young or old. I manage to catch this when I saw this old couple was walking through the narrow back street. Love this photo so much.

I took this photo from my waist level without looking into my camera when I walked pass them. They were enjoying selfie on the stone bridge of Regensburg.

I found my angel here. I only met her once here and she has never seen before already. She is very beautiful.

After a day of walk on the street, have a cup of beer was one of the best way to enjoy your day in the lazy afternoon. But too bad, my colleague was busy tapping his phone from the street walk until go home. Having a cup of beer with a phone tapping guy in front of me is very annoying. There is no meaning at all. It will be better to drink alone, at least he is not distracting my view :P I notice that, the German does not spend so much time on phone. Hardly to see them tapping phone while gather with friends. Good!!! I can't find this beer is selling at any departmental stall or other shops. I think this is one and the only one brand beer in Regensburg, WeissBrauHaus Regensburg. Their wheat beer is recommended!

The lady is beautiful too.... must not miss the chance to snap photo with them. They looks very beautiful with their uniform.

The couple were selecting the food from the menu. It is nice to enjoy the cooling weather outside the Haus.

This photo was taken in Metzinger Premium Outlet in Bavaria. It takes me 3 hours to drive from Regensburg. It is a place where it sells lots of branded clothes. I manage to get my Polo T for my whole family there. But not much that I can buy from this outlet. As compare with US Premium outlet, the price is much much higher. While waiting for colleagues to buy their things, I was sitting there and feeling bore so just took out my camera and shoot kids... they made me miss my sons!

This is another famous Germany's food, German sausage. This Aunty was preparing the sausage and she made the whole market smells good!

I like this one. This was a display doll in a handbag shop at the old town of Regensburg. It is unique if we can put this on top of the wedding cake :)

Captured this happy family photo during the dead weekend. There were not many people walking in the city and I was sitting on a bench waiting for couples or family to pass by and take my best shoot. I spot this location was great as the sun was from the back of the object and the background of the object is dark so that I can make the image more 3D. I do not have a flash gun with me, all I can do is to depends on the available lighting. I try not to do too much editing on my photos. Here is the original version of the family photo. They look natural and joyful.

This is what they do during their free time in the afternoon during the weekend. Most of the time they will spend time chatting with friends, buy a bottle of beer and sitting under the sun. It is very enjoying too. We are very scared of sun when we are in the tropical country but here is different. You will feel very comfortable under the sun in the middle of the cool weather.

While some were dating under the sun. They are just glow in dark. Love this kissing scene. It is hard to see kissing scene in the public in Malaysia but it is very commend in European country. They like, they kiss and they are sweet. Love this. With this condition I can easily catch the kissing scene in Regensburg. During night time at darker place, they are even more romantic. I wish my wife was here with me :)
